Overtheory was formed in 2009. The band spent the next year writing music and testing out material. In January 2011, Overtheory hit the ground running, releasing their first EP and playing all over central Ohio. Since then, the band has been steadily building a fan base and earning respect with energetic live performances and sincere original music.

At the heart of Overtheory’s music is a passion for songwriting shared by Adam and Dorian, who brought their original writing together to forge their own sound. The guitars churn out heavy hard rock, with melodic vocals and emotive lyrics. The band strives to write honest, genuine and personal songs that listeners can relate to.
